Safety Protocols
The safety of our students and staff is our utmost concern, and we appreciate everyone working together to keep us healthy.

Why We Keep Our Lobby Closed During Class
At MDC, we want every dancer to feel confident, focused, and ready to shine!
Because our studio has an open floor plan, activity and noise in the lobby can be easily seen and heard in the classrooms. While this makes our space bright and welcoming, it can also be distracting for younger dancers and sometimes intimidating for dancers of all ages when there are constant observers.

To give dancers the best learning environment, we keep our lobby closed during regular class times. But don’t worry—you’ll have plenty of chances to watch your dancer in action! We host three Parent Peek Weeks each season, so you can see their progress and celebrate their hard work.
We’re always happy to make exceptions for medical or special circumstances, and parents of trial dancers are encouraged to watch their child’s first class.

Pick Up Procedures:
-
Both studios will release from the front door. Parents are asked not to arrive before their child's class is done to eliminate distractions at the end of their child's class.
-
Dancers cannot cross the street or go into the parking lot without an adult.
-
Please be on time to pick up your dancer.
Parents, please do not double park or block the flow of traffic.

Dancers should arrive dressed for class.

If your child is running a fever or is feeling ill, please do not bring them to class. They are welcome to join us for their class virtually.

Melina’s will continue to adhere and abide by safety regulations as mandated.
